Marucci Sports is a baseball and softball product and apparel company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is founded, owned, operated and supported by former and current professional players.

The Marucci World Series brings participating Founders' Club teams from across the world to South Louisiana every last week of July for a Home Run Derby, Fastest Man Race, and a competitive tournament crowning champions from 14-and-under teams to 17-and-under teams. The 2019 event brought in 114 teams and their families and friends from 20 different states, Canada, and South Korea.

My task with Krewe de Rouge was to be an extension of Visit Baton Rouge to create tourism content for Louisiana's capital city. Twitter was the primary social channel I used as players and guests were instructed to follow #MarucciWS for tournament and tourism
